As a standard service, FKH offers diagnostic insulation measurements on all high-voltage electrical equipment delivered to its own laboratory; in particular, detailed assessments based on partial discharge measurements can be provided regarding the condition of insulation on new components as well as older components that are already in operation.<\/p>\n

For small service-aged items of high-voltage equipment such as switchgears, measuring transducers, bushings and busbars with nominal voltages of up to 50\u00a0kV, a high-voltage test with partial discharge measurement in the laboratory can be more efficient than an on-site measurement. FKH has a shielded high-voltage laboratory that can handle surge voltages and AC test voltages of up to approx. 150 kV. As required, FKH will clarify which approach is more favourable and economical (on-site testing or laboratory testing).<\/p>\n
